You can see from the home page what we are about.
First and foremost, we here to serve and support the children in West ISD. We will accommodate meeting their basic needs so it is not a distraction to their education.
Mission
The mission of Helping Hands of West is to ensure all children attending West ISD have basic needs met, primarily food for weekends and holidays. We also extend support by providing hygiene products, clothing, and more, when needed.
Vision
We have built this committee from the ground up to a nonprofit and plan to continue its mission so no child in our community goes to bed hungry.
